Gigabyte RX 6950XT Listed By Australian Retailer For 3,241 AUD (2,400 USD)

One of the fastest RDNA2 graphics cards is finally coming to the market. Yes, we are referring to the AMD Radeon flagship RX 6950XT. As per the first retailer listing, the card is probably going to cost as much as the RTX 3090 Ti. The Australian retailer has listed the graphics card at $ 2,400 (3,241 AUD).

Some of us might still be skeptical about this new listing. It is a fairly new listing and most likely a placeholder which is mentioning the RX 6900XT SKU, but we can see that the product code is matching the leak from the Eurasian Economic Commission regulatory office.

The price point is similar to that of the RTX 3090 Ti Gaming series which retailed at 3,326-3,339 AUD. Thanks to the Gigabyte filing to EEC, the list of Gigabyte RX 6950XT, RX 6750XT, and 6650XT SKUs has now been made public.

AMD has plans for three 6950XT SKUs which include the AORUS Xtreme WaterForce (with water block) and two models based on the Gaming series. In addition to this, Gigabyte will also introduce three RX 6750XT and four 6650XT models. As far as the launch date is concerned, we have already heard about AMD pushing the date to the 10th of May as opposed to the previously decided date of the 20th of April. As the date gets closer, there are high chances that we might see an official teaser and confirmation soon from AMD itself.
