Software & Lights
As far as motherboard companion software Gigabyte makes downloading apps very easy with their APP Center. Through it you can download all of the drivers, software, and misc apps for your motherboard.
Gigabyte’s main motherboard companion software is EasyTune. Here you can full tune your system within Windows. On the main screen you have Smart Boost, here you can set a default operating mode or run auto tuning.
The next tab is Advanced CPU OC. Here you have sliders for all different types of settings that have to do with tuning your CPU.
Advanced DDR OC is much of the same, but has to do with your memory of course.
Advanced power has to do with power settings, although we were not able to change the load line calibration at all here.
For RGB control on the board you have Gigabyte’s RGB Fusion software. You have the ability to control all of the lights on the board at once (make them all the same color / effect) or you can set them all individually. This software also gives you control over the RGB headers on the board.
As far as lighting on the board you have RGB LEDs on the I/O cover, front edge of the board, PCH heatsink, and audio cover. Overall I think the lighting on the board looks great.
