Hands on with the EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Kingpin

There have been many different high-end RTX 2080 Ti graphics cards at CES 2018 and EVGA was not shy to show theirs off. At the show they had the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Kingpin Edition graphics card, which was designed in conjunction with professional overclocker Vince “Kingpin” Lucido.

The card makes use of a hybrid AIO-CLC cooling solution with a 120 mm radiator attached, the card has a 100 mm spinner on it. The custom PCB has a 19 phase VRM that gets power from three 8-pin PCI-E power connections. The CLC block on the cooler will of course make contact with the GPU, but there are also several heatsinks and plates over the memory and VRM areas. On the side of the card you are going to find an LCD that can be programmed to show temperatures, speeds, and much more.

The card also features voltage measurement points and a BIOS select switch. As you could have guessed both the GPU and memory chips for this card and hand-binned. Expect this card to be the highest-clocked and highest-priced RTX 2080 Ti EVGA will offer.
