HyperX Revolver Shoots Past The ‘Cloud’

HyperX created an award-winning Cloud series line of headsets. At CES 2016, HyperX is loading Revolver with new features to ensure it zooms past the bar previously set by the Cloud series.

Revolver is a bit different from Cloud II, its drivers are 50mm, but that doesn’t compromise at all on sound quality based on our limited listening test. Its inline volume control has been revised to include an easy-to-slide switch that’ll mute/unmute its noise-cancelling mic, and the volume knob has been moved to the side. Memory foam remains on Revolver’s headband and earcups, although removing the earcups is now as easy as snapping them on or off.

Revolver will be available in two flavors, Revolver and Revolver S. Revolver is a stereo version, whereas Revolver S is a Dolby Digital 7.1 Virtual Surround headset.

Look for Revolver in June 2016 for $120, and Revolver S sometime later for $150.
