ICY DOCK MB881U3-1SA EZ-Dock Review

Transferring files from an old hard drive to your new system can be quite annoying.  You have to open your system up, mount the drive, etc.  If you have an older drive this can take even longer because many new motherboards do not even have IDE connections.  This is where the ICY DOCK MB881U3-1SA EZ-Dock comes in.  It is a neat little USB 3.0 hard drive dock that supports 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch SATA and IDE drives.  Let’s take a look…

The MB881U3-1SA comes in a nice colorful retail package.  On the front there are a few pictures of the dock and it let’s you know what type of drives it supports.  On the back there is a list of specifications.

Opening the box up everything is nicely packed inside.  Getting it all out you have the MB881U3-1SA dock, power cable, USB 3.0 cable, molex power connector and the user’s guide.
