Intel Core i5-12600K Alder Lake CPU Is 47% Faster Than Ryzen 5 5600X

The multi-threaded CPU-Z test comparing Intel Core i5-12600K with Ryzen 5 5600X shows that Intel is almost 46.7% faster than the Ryzen 5 5600X.

Two leakers @9550pro and @TUM_APISAK have reported about the performance of the Core i5 CPU based on Alder Lake silicon by revealing the results of the upcoming Core i5-12600K processor.

The data coming from @9550pro shows that the CPU scores 746 points in the single-threaded test whereas it bagged a total of 7058 points in the multi-threaded test.

On the other hand, data from @TUM_APISAK shows overclocked performance. According to the result, the numbers increased to 79X points and 72XX points respectively.

None of the leaksters have discussed the clock speeds and the settings used for their tests. Windows 10 was used to take the OC score and Windows 11 was used for the stock score.

This test puts the processor above the existing flagship from the 11th Gen Core Rocket Lake-S series which scored 746 points in single and 6563 points in multi-threaded tests. Moreover, i5-12600K is much faster than the Ryzen 5 5600X. Ryzen 5 scored 624 and 4811 points respectively. This makes the Alder Lake SKU 19.5% and 46.7% faster.

Intel is expected to launch the 12th Gen Core CPU series on the 4th of November. The price of  i5-12600K is not known, but it is predicted to be comparable with Ryzen 5 series
