Intel NUC 11 Extreme Beast Canyon SFF PC Is Now Up For Grabs On Amazon

Intel’s NUC 11 Extreme “Beast Canyon” mini PC has been here for a while now and yet it’s been only available for preorders.

Luckily a seller on E-ITX (via Amazon Marketplace), Amazon is currently taking orders for the NUC 11 Extreme barebones kit for $1770 with delivery on September 25th. This is a high-end configuration with a Core i9-11900KB processor. The seller has numerous configurations available which include 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB DDR4 RAM. The seller also provides numerous capacities of Samsung 980 and 980 Pro NVMe SSDs (250GB, 500GB, 1TB, 2TB) to choose from. If you go for a system with a Core i9-11900KB processor, 16GB RAM, and a 500GB Samsung 980 SSD, it will cost you $1,860.

A mid-range config with 32GB RAM and a 1TB Samsung 980 Pro SSD will set you back by $2,150. In case you want to max out on the specs then a 64GB RAM and dual 2TB Samsung 980 Pro SSDs will bump up the cost to $3,140.

In comparison, NUC 11 Extreme with a Core i9-11900KB processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB PCIe SSD is available for $1,599 at SimplyNUC. However, SimplyNUC says that its systems are currently on backorder, so the Amazon seller’s E-ITX in-stock status is the reason for the higher price.

Take note that prices from the seller don’t include a discrete graphics card. The 650-watt 80+ Gold power supply provided is sufficient for a GeForce RTX 3080 Ti or Radeon RX 6800 XT.

Let’s just hope that the NUC 11 Extreme supplies issue will be resolved soon.
