Intel Will Officially Announce Its First Laptop Arc Alchemist Graphics Cards On March 30th

Intel will finally announce its first Arc Alchemist graphics cards for laptops officially on March 30th.

Intel earlier announced that the first discrete graphics cards will be launched in the first quarter. The company has announced that the first wave of discrete GPUs will be for laptops.

Intel has made a dedicated website for the upcoming Arc event teasing “a new stage of the game”. Intel has confirmed that they will provide a first look at its discrete graphics cards for laptops. The company does not say much about desktop GPUs.

It is expected that the company will launch DG2-128EU based GPUs first, most likelyA350M and A370M. They will be utilizing the ultra-thin designs such as Acer Swift X equipped with Intel Alder Lake-P series.

Intel is presenting the Intel Arc Alchemist which is the first generation of Xe-HPG gaming GPUs. Intel had promised to launch both mobile and desktop GPUs in 2022. Moreover, they also verified that they have been planning for at least 3 generations ahead. They will provide even more performance every time as Intel solidifies its position in the dGPU market.

The desktop Arc GPUs are expected to be released in a couple of months. Intel has clarified that the mobile Arc series were manufactured to bring all significant technologies together which includes CPU, graphics, media, display, and I/O. It is anticipated to provide a good groundwork for the desktop series in the future.
