Leadtek has rolled out their GeForce GTX 780 Hurricane III Graphics Card. This card makes use of a reference designed GTX 780 PCB and Leadtek’s own Hurricane III cooling solution. The card features a slight overclock of 876 MHz core and 928 MHz boost compared to the 863/900 MHz of reference cards. The memory remains the same as reference at 6 GHz (effective).
The cooler makes use of a large aluminum fin stack and a number of large heatpipes that draw heat away from the GPU. The cooler has three fans, two of which are 74mm and one (the center) which is 85mm. The shroud is black with gold accents on it. The card gets power from 6pin and 8pin PCI-Express connectors.
The GeForce GTX 780 Hurricane III is expected to launch September 20th and the price will be on par with reference GeForce GTX 780’s.
