System Overview & Testing

We installed the ARES DDR5 in our Z690 test system which is made up of the following components.

Motherboard: Gigabyte Z690 AORUS Ultra
Memory: 32GB Lexar ARES (DDR5-5200)
Storage: Samsung 870 EVO
Power: Corsair AX860i
Cooling: be quiet! Pure Loop 360mm
Case: Open PC Test Bench

Taking a look at CPU-Z we can see this memory is running at its XMP profile, operating at 5200 MHz with timings of 38-38-38-74 at 1.25V.

For testing we will run the memory at its stock or XMP profile settings using the below benchmarking software. Below is a list of benchmarking software that we use.
