Microsoft’s Surface Mini Costs $299, Will Be Released In Q4

In order to meet the requirements of the users who are looking for a low budget tablets in the market, Microsoft’s Surface Mini is just the right addition to the Microsoft’s portfolio to help capture the lower market price point. It is expected that Microsoft Surface Mini Tablet will arrive in last quarter of the year. Supposedly the price of this tablet would be $299/€230 though Microsoft is still negotiating the price with 2-3 Taiwanese ODM producers about the device. It is just waiting for a right price to be offered.


With its release in the last quarter of the year, it is most likely possible that the Surface Mini will lead the official Windows 8.1 release. The device is expected to have a 7.5 to 8 inch display while being powered by a low-power Intel Atom x86 processor. The purpose of introducing this tablet is to show strong competency against Apple’s iPad Mini.
