I-O data has released a new device to its range, it’s a 24X external DVD writer. Codenamed DVR-UA24EZ, the drive offers USB 2.0 connection interface and is also capable of providing up to 24X for single layer DV-R. Besides this the drive also comes packed with I-O Data’s own ‘Mach Utility’ software. Reports are that the device will be shipped later in August for $76.
Other than this it also read and write CD / DVD data on a PC with no DVD drive, making it ideal for re-installation and setup of the software. In addition, full-featured version of video editing software “LoiLoScope 2 (LoiLoScope 2)” and can be used free for 30 days. Having the I-O Data Mach USB software, but regardless of the optimizations, there is no way to bypass the 480 Mbps bottleneck of the hardware.
Supporting operating systems are DOS/ V machine, (32.64 bit), Windows Vista SP2 or later (32-bit), Windows XP SP3 or later, Windows 8 (32.64 bit), Windows 7 Windows RT.
