MSI Releases RTX 40 Ventus Essential Series With Dual HDMI & DisplayPort Config

MSI has once more updated the Ventus RTX 40 series with a subtle redesign. Ventus models are known for their popularity within MSI’s product range, thanks to their attractive pricing, which often matches the GPU vendor’s recommended prices. These cards also closely match the specifications of the GAMING models and frequently provide equally effective cooling solutions.

Nonetheless, gamers should now be more discerning when choosing a Ventus model, as MSI has introduced a third version in the series. According to Hassan Mujtaba from Wccftech, these new additions are apparently marked as “E” or “Essential.” While they are likely to maintain the same design and specifications, they could include certain structural improvements. It’s clear that in this context, “essential” does not imply lower quality.

Six new cards have been unveiled in total:

1. MSI RTX 4070 12GB VENTUS 2X E
2. MSI RTX 4070 12GB VENTUS 2X E OC
3. MSI RTX 4070 Ti 12GB VENTUS 3X E1
4. MSI RTX 4070 Ti 12GB VENTUS 3X E1 OC
5. MSI RTX 4090 24GB VENTUS 3X E
6. MSI RTX 4090 24GB VENTUS 3X E OC

The specifications have remained mostly consistent, with only slight adjustments to the card’s weight, and the dimensions remain unaltered. Nevertheless, there’s a significant change in the display output arrangement for one of the cards, specifically the RTX 4090 Ventus 3X E models. Instead of the previous configuration of 3xDP + 1x HDMI, users will now discover two HDMI ports and two DP ports.
