Acer isn’t usually associated with graphics cards, but they’ve recently released several GPUs for the latest generation, including models from NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel. Although they showcased some intriguing prototypes, these never made it to market.

Acer is continuing its involvement with the RTX 40 series, with a new RTX 4090 set to debut this year. The upcoming Predator Orion 7000 gaming PC will feature Intel’s next-gen Arrow Lake-S or Core Ultra 200K platform. Alongside this, Acer is preparing to introduce a new GeForce card.

Although there aren’t any direct images of the new card, we can see shots of it installed in the Orion system. It’s clear that the card features a thick 3-slot cooler with three fans and prominent RGB stripes on both sides. Interestingly, Acer had previously teased a triple-fan design for its Radeon RX 7900 XTX card, but as far as we know, that version never made it to market. A similar model did launch with the RX 7900 GRE SKU. Additionally, Acer released a custom Predator RTX 4090 with two fans and a built-in AIO cooler, but reviews indicated it wasn’t very well-received.

The new card plays a central role in the Orion system and has been heavily promoted, making its launch highly likely. However, Acer hasn’t confirmed whether the new Predator design will be sold separately for DIY builders. It’s more likely that the card will remain exclusive to their prebuilt gaming PCs.
