NVIDIA Starts Selling GeForce RTX 4070 TI SUPER With AD102 In Germany

The new AD102-225 processor, identical to the AD103-275 in specifications, powers the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER in certain recently announced models. Gigabyte’s RTX 4070 Ti SUPER Windforce MAX is the first model to utilize this GPU, incorporating a cooler from the RTX 4090 model. It features 8,448 CUDA cores, a reduction of 9,728 CUDA cores compared to the RTX 6000 ADA, which houses the most powerful variant of this GPU.

Graphics cards featuring non-standard GPUs are usually restricted to specific regions, primarily the Chinese market, due to stricter consumer regulations in Europe that discourage companies from introducing these cards there. Additionally, these cards are often produced in limited quantities, making their introduction elsewhere impractical. However, one of the initial instances of such a card has now been listed as available in Germany.

The card is listed without any images, but its product code aligns with the one found on the Gigabyte website. This discovery by ComputerBase indicates that graphics cards powered by the AD102-225 chipset may not be confined solely to the Asian market. Although this card stands as the sole exception for now, it hints that other models equipped with non-standard GPUs could potentially be introduced in Europe as well.
