Palit Unveils GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER GameRock OmniBlack Graphics Card

Palit has introduced the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER GameRock OmniBlack graphics card, a new version of their GameRock series that omits illumination features. This model maintains the acrylic embellishment resembling ice or frost on the cooler shroud but lacks backlighting. It comes with three 80 mm GaleHunter fans, now black and opaque instead of the frosted acrylic illuminated fans from the original GameRock version. The cooling system includes the same substantial aluminum fin-stack heatsink as the company’s RTX 4080 GameRock series. This design results in a card that is 3.5 slots thick (71.5 mm), nearly 33 cm long, and 13.7 cm tall.

The power limit of the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER has been increased to 295 W from the reference 285 W. Despite this power increase, the card adheres to NVIDIA’s reference clock speeds of 2340 MHz base and 2610 MHz boost, with memory running at 21 Gbps. The card features dual-BIOS functionality; however, both BIOS configurations maintain the same clock speeds, with the “silent” BIOS offering a quieter fan profile. This graphics card is built on the 5 nm “AD103” silicon, the same as used in the RTX 4080 and RTX 4080 SUPER models. The RTX 4070 Ti SUPER is equipped with 8,448 CUDA cores, 264 Tensor cores, 66 RT cores, 264 TMUs, and 96 ROPs. Palit has not disclosed the pricing for the GameRock OmniBlack variant.

This release emphasizes a robust cooling solution, increased power capacity, and a distinctive aesthetic that omits lighting elements, catering to users who prefer a more understated look in their build. By focusing on technical specifications and design elements, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER GameRock OmniBlack is positioned as a high-performance graphics card with a strong emphasis on cooling efficiency and power management. It offers an option for users who require substantial GPU power without the additional lighting effects common in other models.
