Usage & Testing
There really is not much to do to get started with the Supersonic Rage Prime drive. Just plug it into an open USB port on your PC or laptop and you’ll be good to go.
When you plug the drive in it will be automatically detected. Taking a look we can see that the drive is formatted as exFAT which makes it compatible with both PC and Mac.
To test this we ran a few different benchmarks including CrystalDiskMark, ATTO Disk Benchmark, and the AJA System Test.
The results here were quite interesting as in CrystalDiskMark our speeds were around the rated 600 MB/s, but in the other tests we saw speeds closer to 1000 MB/s!
