Patriot Viper VXD Performance
When it comes to performance the speeds you’ll get with the VXD will be dependent on the drive that you install in it. With that said most drives these days will completely max out the USB 3.2 gen 2 connection. I decided to test the VXD with my new Lenovo Yoga 9i laptop. First up we have CrystalDiskMark.
Next we run the the AJA System test. It tests different types of video formats and gives you throughput results for the drive. Our configuration was 4K RED HD footage, 1 GB test file size, and the 10bit YUV codec.
We also run the AS SSD Benchmark and ATTO Disk Benchmark.
