Rocket Lake-S CPU Will Launch in March According to MSI

MSI has recently posted from its official account on South Korean Danawa forums confirming that the existing 400 series motherboards will support 11th Gen Core CPUs, and Z490 will be the first one to receive the update. MSI also confirmed that Intel will launch its 11th Gen Core desktop series in March.

This also confirms the rumors that Intel will only release its upcoming 500-series motherboards (Z590, B560, H510), and the 11th Gen Core “Rocket Lake-S” processors will not be launched until March. The specific launch date is March 15th, while the availability is expected in early April.

A new Rumor also confirms that the flagship model of the upcoming Intel 11th Gen Processor series will be capable of breaking the 700 point barrier in CPU-Z’s single-threaded benchmark. This surely will put a lot of pressure on AMD’s Zen3 processor series.

Intel 9th Generation

It is expected that Intel will discuss its 11th Gen Core series at CES 2021, which also includes the next-gen gaming Tiger Lake-H series and Rocket Lake-S CPUs.
