AMD has announced significant price cuts on their Zen3 CPUs. The official AMD US store has been updated with the new, lower pricing. Even though we’ve seen price drops for most CPUs by now, the most intriguing SKU with 3D V-Cache is now lowered to $329. Multiple price trackers indicate that this is the lowest price for this CPU.
AMD Ryzen 5000 price (official US store):
Ryzen 9 5950X: $799
Ryzen 9 5900X: $549
Ryzen 7 5800X3D: $449
Ryzen 7 5800X: $449
Ryzen 5 5600X: $299
AMD is reducing the cost of its CPUs by up to $250 for the 16-core component and by up to $120 for the 5800X3D. Even the 5600X has been marked down by $140 in price. In addition, AMD is including Uncharted Legacy with all Ryzen 5000 series orders made through this store.
These are currently the most economical prices for a 5800X3D in the United States. This CPU is priced at $369 at MicroCenter, $349 at Amazon, and $331 at Newegg; however, not all retailers have it in stock. In Europe, the price of the 5800X3D has just fallen from €349 to €299, and this trend is mirrored in other areas.
The 64MB of extra L3 Cache in the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D makes it an 8-core processor. This CPU is regarded as an excellent option for gaming on the AM4 platform and does not require pricey DDR5 memory, unlike the new Ryzen 7000 CPUs and AM5 motherboards.
