With its huge success many companies are creating all types of different products based on the Atom. With this comes the nettop, a small form factor, inexpensive, low-wattage desktop computer. Today we will be looking at one of the most powerful nettop’s out there the Shuttle X50. It features the Atom 330 dual-core processor, 1GB of memory and a 15.6-inch touch screen display.

Packaging
The X50 comes in a very sleek and stylish box that is very Applesque as it only has a single picture of the display on it. On the back it says “XVision Touch + All in one”.
Getting the box open everything inside is nicely protected with large pieces of Styrofoam. With the X50 system you get an AC adapter and power cord as well as a user’s guide and driver CD.

although the screen is no too vibrant, a different monito could always be attached, also single touch is a disadvantage because windows 7 wasto be released soon

I don't think XP supports touch screen but I could be wrong.
Xp does not support multitouch, but can support touchscreen if you have the right drivers. For example, my netbook running xp has a touchscreen mod attached to it.
Right, well I don't think single touch is really bad thing. I don't think I would use it anyways.
It's convenient, but like the author mentioned, the osk is not enabled natively, and it does not come with a keyboard. However it is easy to enable the keyboard. I actually use the touch function a lot, and many people like it as well.
