Tribit StormBox Micro 2 Portable Wireless Speaker Review

Final Thoughts

So when the Tribit StormBox Micro 2 came in to review I thought to myself, “this is just another Bluetooth speaker” and boy was I wrong. The biggest thing is how well this speaker sounds. Not only is the sound clear and crisp, it is fully full with bass you can feel. I was actually taken back by how good the sound is on this speaker since it is so small. Regardless of the other features of this speaker its selling point is definitely its audio quality.

The StormBox Micro 2 is not just your ordinary Bluetooth speaker though. First off it comes with a built-in battery that allows you to charge other devices. This definitely comes in handy and makes it so you only have to remember to pack up the speaker, not the speaker and a portable battery. It will also save some room in your backpack. The integrated rubber strap is great too, this allows you to basically attach the speaker to anything the strap will fit around. I used attached it to my backpack with no issues at all. Finally the speaker is IP67 rated so it can get wet.

I really like the size of the speaker too. While it is a bit large to fit in say the pocket of your jeans it is definitely smaller than most other Bluetooth speakers and it sounds a hell of a lot better too. Its size makes it not a real burden to take with you anywhere and this is great for travelers.

Right now this speaker is selling at our favorite online retailer for $59.99, which I think is an excellent price for the audio and build quality that you are getting. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Tribit StormBox Micro 2 Portable Bluetooth Speaker a 10 out of 10 score and our Recommended Award!
