At ChinaJoy 2024, Sapphire unveiled three new graphics cards inspired by different games. The first card, revealed prior to the Chinese tech festival, is designed with a Frostpunk 2 theme, a post-apocalyptic steampunk strategy game. However, this wasn’t the only new card introduced at the event. They also showcased an RX 7800 XT GPU themed around the game Once Human.
Sapphire is also introducing its Radeon RX 7700 XT, themed after a game called Delta Force: Hawk Ops. The game was revealed several months ago as a massive multiplayer game, similar to Call of Duty and Battlefield. Some gamers describe it as a mix of both, featuring Unreal Engine 5 and cross-platform support. The game will be available on PCs, consoles, and mobile devices.
The graphics card is based on the Sapphire RX 7700 PURE design but features a black color scheme instead of white. It comes with a 2.5-slot triple-fan cooler, custom stickers, and a custom backplate, along with a distinctive red LED on the side. The RX 7700 XT uses a cut-down Navi 32 GPU with 3456 cores and 12GB of GDDR6 memory, and it has a default TBP of 245W. While neither Sapphire nor AMD have confirmed the specs of this new variant, it’s expected to be similar to the PURE model, with a 2584 MHz boost clock, which is 1.6% faster than AMD’s reference specs.

Sapphire recently unveiled its Once Human and Frostpunk 2 designs, which are also based on the PURE series.
The Delta Force: Hawk Ops PC Alpha test will begin on August 6th and will be free to play. However, the GPU does not yet have a release date, availability, or pricing information.
