I’ve always been a fan of low-profile keyboards, especially when it comes to looking amazing on my desk. The problem with low-profile keyboards has always been that they were not made all that great and that they lacked mechanical key switches. Enter the Cooler Master SK630, which is a tenkeyless low-profile keyboard that takes the classic slim, minimal design of popular chiclet keyboards and injects it with premium components and style we know Cooler Master for. This includes Cherry MX low-profile key switches, a beautiful aluminum top plate, a floating key design, and of course RGB lighting. Could this be the quality low-profile keyboard you’ve been searching for? Read on as we find out!
Special thanks to Cooler Master for providing us with their SK630 Low Profile Keyboard to review.

Packaging
The SK630 comes in a box that is not much larger than the actual keyboard itself. For the SK series Cooler Master has gone with a white box that shows off the keyboard on the front. It also lets us know we have the version of the keyboard with Cherry MX Red low-profile switches.
Flipping over to the back we have an overview of the keyboard and some of the main features are highlighted. I think that if you were are the store you would have more than enough information on the keyboard to make an informed purchase.
Getting everything out of the box we have the SK630 low profile keyboard, a nice carry case / bag, a braided USB-A to USB-C cable, a keycap puller and a user’s guide.
