Testing – CrystalDiskMark & AS SSD
CrystalDiskMark is our next test and it has a sequential read / write test as well as a 512k and 4k random read / write test. With SandForce-based drives we normally run this test with 0Fill, but since this drive is powered by a Marvell controller we do not have that problem.
AS SSD Benchmark is next. This benchmark contains four synthetic as well as three practice tests. The main benchmark will give you scores in MB/s as well as IOPS.
The AS SSD Copy Benchmark gives you the speed and time it would take to load an ISO, Program and Game.
Finally we have the AS SSD Compression benchmark.
Even though Crucial MX100 is pretty cheap they still don’t have a software bundle include like Sandisk, OCZ, Samsung and Intel. So with that your better off going with ones that include some software bundle, I have the Samsung 840 EVO 250GB SSD.

To what software bundle are you referring; the MX100 comes with a full copy Acronis True Image (for cloning your current HDD or SSD to this one), what more would we need?
