Gigabyte is launching a new product line called AI-TOP, specifically designed for affordable AI inference. Unlike the expensive NVIDIA RTX workstation series, the AI-TOP series features GPUs based on the more cost-effective gaming GeForce RTX brand, making them much cheaper.
At Computex, the company unveiled its first card, the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER. This upgraded model, featuring 16GB of GDDR6X memory and the AD103 GPU, builds on the version released in January. While it’s uncertain if Gigabyte will introduce additional models like the RTX 4060 Ti 16GB or an RTX 4080-class series, it would be a reasonable assumption.
The RTX 4070 Ti SUPER boasts a custom cooling design utilizing a single blower-type cooler. Gigabyte presents this card at Computex with a sleek silver color scheme, foregoing RGB lighting in favor of a prominent AI-TOP logo. At the event, Gigabyte is exhibiting this new card alongside four others on the TRX50 workstation board, providing an economical AMD option.
However, details regarding the release date and pricing for this card are currently unavailable.
