Glorious PC Gaming Race Model O Gaming Mouse Review

Glorious PC Gaming Race Model O Overview

Right off the bat you can see that we’ve received the white version of the mouse. Glorious PC Gaming Race offers four different models of the mouse with your choice of color (white / black) and your choice of surface (matte / glossy). We have the matte white version and I think it looks amazing.

The first thing you are going to notice about the mouse are the multiple honeycomb-shaped holes on the top. These are of course made to cut-down on the weight of the mouse. This mouse weighs in at just 67 grams. While this is not the lightest mouse out there (the Cooler Master MM710 is 53g) it is noticeably lighter than many of the mice that we’ve reviewed in the past.

The mouse has an ambidextrous design, although you do have buttons on the left side so right-handed users will appreciate this mouse more. The mouse has a decently low profile with a long and narrow design. According to the official specifications the Model O is 128 mm long and 37.5 mm tall at its highest point.

To give you an idea of size here is the Model O compared to the Cooler Master MM710.

At the front of the mouse you have your two main left and right buttons (powered by OMRON switches), a small center button (DPI select) and a rubberized mouse wheel. The mouse buttons are concave so your fingers should rest comfortably on them.

Taking a look at the mouse from the side we can see that the “hump” is centered. On the left side you’ll find two small buttons and the Glorious PC Gaming Race logo.

The other side of the mouse is plan, no grip or anything (that would add extra weight).

Flipping the mouse over we can see more honeycomb-shaped cut-outs. Right in the center of the mouse is the senor which is the PixArt 3360 optical sensor. This is a 12,000 DPI sensor. Right next to the sensor is the DPI indication LED. This will change colors based on the DPI level you are at.

Also on the bottom of the mouse you’ll find four pre-installed mouse feet. Glorious PC Gaming Race calls these their G-Skates. These are PTFE feet with rounded edges which won’t snap on your gaming surface and allow the Model O to glide effortlessly.

The Model O comes with a 2m / 6.5ft USB 2.0 cable. Glorious PC Gaming Race calls this their Ascend cord, which is braided to be ultra-flexible and light. They have also made the USB connector orange, which is a nice little touch.
