Glorious PC Gaming Race Model O Gaming Mouse Review

Usage & Final Thoughts

I have been using the Model O as my main mouse, replacing the Cooler Master MM710, for a little over a week now and I do have to say that I like it. The longer profile of the Model O did take a little bit of time to get used to though. Over the past week and a half I’ve plated a lot of Apex Legends, Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order, and Overwatch. The Model O was very responsive and felt great playing both fast-paced games like Apex Legends and slower single player games like Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order.

Now the only other lightweight mouse I’ve reviewed has been the Cooler Master MM710 so I will be comparing both of these mice. The Model O has a longer profile, which I actually did not like at first, but after using it I tended to like it better than the smaller MM710. When it comes to overall feel I really liked how the Model O felt, my fingers just felt more comfortable on it. The MM710 is however lighter, which made it slide across my mouse pad easier.

When it comes to looks the Model O definitely has the MM710 beat as the MM710 does not have any lighting. The RGB lighting on the Model O is excellent and looks great. Also having the option of white and black is something that the Cooler Master does not offer with the MM710. While I do enjoy the Ascend cable on the Model O it just did not feel as good as the Ultraweave cable on the Model O.

Glorious PC Gaming Race does back the Model O up with software and while not super in-depth it does get the job done. You can easily reprogram the mouse, change the lighting, and tune the mouse to your liking. All of the settings are saved on the mouse so if you switch to a different PC your settings will still be there.

While the Cooler Master MM710 introduced me to lightweight gaming mice, the Model O from Glorious PC Gaming Race really sets the standard. There really is nothing we can knock it for, it is pretty much perfect! Right now you can pick up the Model O (matte edition) for $49.99 at our favorite online retailer, which makes the mouse extremely affordable as well. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Glorious PC Gaming Race Model O Gaming Mouse a 10 out of 10 score and our Recommended Award.
