The first picture of an Intel Core i9-13900K “Raptor Lake” retail packaging has been leaked to the web. It is noticeably thinner, this is because unlike the Core i9-12900K packaging which had the jewel-case shaped like a silicon wafer at an angle with a large window letting you see it, this time the wafer is sitting straight up and honestly looks more like a film reel that anything else.
Also the wafer itself seems to be silver, not the gold that we saw on the previous packaging. Besides this the packaging looks very much the same with the “i9” at the top, “Intel Core Unlocked” text in the middle, and smaller “13th Gen” text. For reference here is what the 12th gen retail box looked like.
