Kingston Workflow Station and Readers Review

Testing & Performance

Setting up the Workflow Station is extremely simple, just plug the USB-C cable into your PC or laptop and be sure to plug in the AC adapter. Then go ahead and plug in your devices to the different readers / ports. Kingston was nice enough to send us over a handful of their different SD and MicroSD cards to test with the Workflow Station.

We tested the speeds of these cards using the AJA System Test, below are the results.

Another thing that is cool about the Workflow Station is that you can use it with other USB-C devices that will fit down in the slots. I used my ADATA SE880 portable SSD and it fit right in.

Using the slots directly give you USB 3.2 gen 2 speeds, which is great for portable SSDs!
