Lexar NM700 M.2 SSD Overview
The Lexar NM700 looks very much like your typical M.2 solid state drive. On the front there is a sticker covering most of the components with the Lexar logo on it. For those wondering this is your standard M.2 2280 drive so you shouldn’t have any issues getting it to fit in a slot on your motherboard.
Flipping the drive over we can see that it is single-sided. This makes it ideal for installing in a laptop. On the back there is another sticker with the model number and serial numbers.
Removing the sticker on the top of the drive we can see that the drive is powered by the Marvell 88SS1092, which is an 8-channel controller. You’ll also find a a single Nanya LPDDR3-SDRAM module, and two 3D TLC NAND flash chips which are 512GB each.
