MSI Radeon RX 5500 XT Gaming X Graphics Card Review

1440p Game Testing

Our next set of benchmarks are all game benchmarks. These will be run and tested at 1440p (2560 x 1440) resolution. All scores here are the average FPS (frames per second) recorded.

Ashes of The Singularity
We are running the DirectX 12 version of the game. Using the “High” quality profile we ran the game’s built-in benchmark.

Battlefield V
In Battlefield V we had DirectX 12 turned on and used the Ultra preset. We run through a section of the Nordlys War Story recording our frame rates and then averaging them out at the end.

The Division
In The Division we used the “Ultra” preset, but we made sure to turn V-sync mode off. The game has its own built-in benchmark, which we ran.

FarCry 5
With FarCry 5 we do have a built-in benchmark. Graphics were set on the Ultra preset.

Final Fantasy XV
The Final Fantasy XV benchmark is a new benchmark that we’ve added to our graphics benchmarking suite. The benchmark is pretty simple and we used the High Quality preset. This benchmark spits out scores rather than FPS.
