It appears that the Nintendo Switch 2 has entered full production, based on recent reports connected to the Japanese company’s assembler. According to a post on X by David Gibson, Nintendo’s assembler, Hosiden, is investing 2 billion yen in production equipment and 1 billion yen in automation during the third quarter of the current fiscal year for a key client in the entertainment industry. This indicates that full production has likely begun.

In a post on the Gaming Leaks subreddit, popular insider NateTheHate shared more details about the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, confirming that the new console will support backward compatibility with the original Switch system.
