ASRock Radeon RX 6600 XT Phantom Gaming D Overview
Taking a first look at the card I would say it has an average length with official dimensions of 305 x 131 x 48 mm. At only 305 mm long you really shouldn’t have any issues getting this card installed in your system.
As far as the design of the card goes it is mainly black with red accents, which is of course indicative of ASRock’s Phantom Gaming brand. For being a lower-end card I have to say that this card is one of the better RX 6600 XT’s that I’ve seen.
When it comes to cooling you have ASRock’s Phantom Gaming 3X cooling solution which is made up of three cooling fans that sit atop of a heatsink stack. The fans used are ASRock’s striped Axial fans which have an enhanced airflow design. The center fan is clear as it will light up with RGB lighting while the two outer fans are more of a clear black. The heatsink under the fans is separated into two sections which are connected by three copper heatpipes.
On the edge of the card that will show out from your case there is a Phantom Gaming logo, which will light up with RGB lighting. If we look at the card from this side we can see just show short the PCB of the card is and how much further the cooling solution extends. At the very end of the PCB is your power connection which is an 8-pin PCI-Express connector. While it sits at the end of the PCB because the cooler is so large it really sits towards the middle of the card.
Flipping the card over to the back there is a full-cover metal backplate that has the Phantom Gaming logo on it as well as some cut-outs towards the end for improved airflow.
As far as connections go on the card you have the standard three DisplayPort 1.4 and a single HDMI 2.1. The card is a 2.4-slot card so you going to want to keep that in mind.
