Cooler Master MM831 Gaming Mouse Review

Usage and Final Thoughts

Cooler Master Master Mouse MM831 left side

I’m often hesitant to give my opinions on peripherals as they are very subjective. What works for me and what I like, you may not like at all. However, I am very confident in saying the Cooler Master Master MNouse MM831 is a great mouse that I am hard-pressed to final much fault in. The ergonomic design of the Master Mouse MM831 is very comfortable and just feels right in my hand. I generally use a  full palm grip on my mouse. So, it’s rare that I find a mouse that is this comfortable. My daily driver is the G502. The MM831 feels very much like the G502 to me. So much so, I find myself reaching for buttons that are not there. In fact, if the MM831 had a few more buttons, matching the G502, it would replace the G502 as my daily use mouse. I can give no higher praise than that.

Master Mouse MM831 W/type-c cable

At an MSRP of $79.99, the Cooler Master MM831 is a great deal for a very versatile mouse. Currently, I have the MM831 set up on three different systems, one through Bluetooth, one through 2.4 GHz wireless, and the last system are wired through the USB Type-C connector. It’s great being able to use the same mouse on all my test benches, without having to buy multiple mice or even having to plug in or unplug the cable multiple times. To switch systems, it’s as easy as flipping a switch on the bottom of the mouse. Overall, I’d give the Master Mouse MM831 a score of 9 out of 10. If it had a sniper button on the left side, it would be a 10 out of 10. So, if you’re in the market for a new mouse, check out the Master Mouse MM831 from Cooler Master. As of right now, it has my vote for the best mouse of 2020.
