Sunmae Gaming Chair Overview
So first off we received the “Sunmae Gaming Chair Ergonomic Racing Chair Adjustable Computer Desk Swivel Chair with Soft PU Armrest -(Black and Gray)” which is $164.00 on Amazon. Sunmae offers a few different versions of their gaming chair, the big difference with this one from the looks of it is the style of the back rest, at least compared to their $118.00 chair.
The chair is designed much like other gaming chairs, with its racing seat inspired look. The chair itself is wrapped in PU faux leather, which again we see on most of these chairs. I do have to say compared to other gaming chairs we’ve reviewed this chair is smaller. Thinner cushion material is used.
The armrests really do not offer much in terms of adjustment. While the Amazon listing says the armrests are adjustable showing that they can be moved up and down, they could not be. There is also no angle adjustment like we’ve seen on other gaming chairs.
On the left side of the chair are your controls. The bottom lever allows you to adjust the chair up or down and the top level adjusts the angle of the back rest. You can adjust the back from 90 degrees all the way back to 130 degrees. This is good, although other chairs can go fully flat.
The chair does offer adjustable and removable lumbar and head rests. These easily strap on to the chair and their size seem good to me.
