Fractal Design Torrent Compact Case Review

Fractal Design has done this thing lately where they release a case and then a few months later they release a smaller version of that case. They did it with both their Define 7 and Meshify 2, releasing Compact versions of these cases and now they are doing with their recently released Torrent case. The Torrent in itself is a pretty massive case and as we mentioned in our review if you didn’t plan on installing watercooling there was a lot of dead space at the front of the case. The Torrent Compact solves that problem with a smaller overall footprint, but you don’t lose that much in terms of support. You still have room inside for E-ATX motherboards, graphics cards up to 330 mm, and those two large 180 mm fans are included! If the original Torrent was overkill for you this might be the perfect case for you!

Special thanks to Fractal Design for providing us with the Torrent Compact Case to review!

Opening the box up we are greeted with a larger accessories box and we find the case itself nicely protected with 2 large pieces of Styrofoam.
